Inauguration of Fr. Myles as Cathedral Residentiary Canon

On March 4th 2006, Fr. Myles was installed as Canon Residentiary of Liverpool Cathedral. This took place during Choral Evensong at which St. Anne's choir had been invited to sing 'Only say the word', an anthem composed by Martin Polglase, for which Fr. Myles wrote the words. Doreen from St. Paul's and Michelle from St. Anne's read the lessons. Myles was pleased to see clergy friends from far and wide, school friends and many from St. Anne's and St. Paul's congregations. We were extremely pleased to welcome Vĕra and our friends from Chotĕboř, Czech Republic. There was an opportunity to meet everyone at the west end of the cathedral before the party back at St. Anne's where there was food, wine and beautiful music performed by our friends from Czech Republic.
