In October 2001, St Anne's organised a carpet of flowers. This was placed
along the central aisle of the Nave for the Harvest Festival weekend. It was
the brainchild of Jean Sutton, designed by Edward Taylor and carried out by our home team of flower arrangers
and other helpers. It attracted many visitors to the church.
As part of the celebrations of the
175th anniversary of the consecration of the first St Anne's Church in 1831, a flower festival
was organised and another carpet of flowers was laid.
The pictures were taken from the nave roof space, 60ft above the display. Click on the images for a bigger picture.
