Choir holiday 2008, Wirksworth

This years holiday was in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, staying at the Glenorchy Centre. Trips included a visit to the Heights of Abraham with tours down the caverns, a 23 mile bike ride along the High Peak Trail, a walk over Bolehill and Middleton Top, despite the nettles! Later in the week we had a BBQ at Ali and Steve's, with some very entertaining sketches performed by the children. The night ended with a great karaoke. Our very grateful thanks to Ali and Steve for a great night.On Thursday we went to Chatsworth House adventure playground and then went to see the crooked spire in Chesterfield followed by a trip to the cinema to see The Dark Knight. To finish the week off, we had a fancy dress parade around the town - what a sight!
